REACH

SP International is aware of the REACH Regulation (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals Regulation, EC 1907/2006).

Safety Compliance

SP International is very proud of its numerous listings with safety agencies including UL, VDE and CSA. Many of the products which SP International offers are safety-related devices whose safety agency listings are critical to our customers’ engineering approval.

Conflict Minerals Policy

SP International supports authorities, non-government organizations and industrial associations in the efforts to stop the trade of Conflict Minerals (Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act).

Toxic Substances Control Policy

SP International certifies that all materials in our products and our manufacturing processes do not contain or use any of the chemical substances regulated by the TSCA.

Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act

SP International certifies that none of the raw materials used to manufacture our products, nor the finished products themselves, come from or have any connection with, the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China.  All products supplied by SP International are in full compliance with the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act.

Compliance with Canadian Sanctions Related to Russia

SP International certifies that in regards to the placing of sanctions against the Russian Federation, due to the war in Ukraine, all products supplied by S-P International are in keeping fully with any and all measures put in place by Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States and other NATO allies.  As well, S-P International has no direct dealings with any companies or institutions in the Russian Federation.

SP International is committed to protecting and sustaining the world’s water supply.  We are committed to operating our business ethically, responsibly and sustainably, and we expect our suppliers to share a commitment to our values through sustainable business practices, fully complying with applicable laws and to support internationally recognized environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) standards.  We also expect our suppliers to use their best efforts to implement these standards with their suppliers and subcontractors.
