Low Bleed Thermal Pads

These thermal interface materials are a low bleed thermal pad series which offer long-term, reliable performance with minimal silicone oil bleed and outgassing. This new product line incorporates high performance and maintained stability alongside advanced oil bleed technology.

Migration of silicone oil from the pad is known as oil bleed and it can be problematic in certain environments, including optronics and automotive applications as it can contaminate silicone sensitive components and impact overall performance and reliability.

This series comprises of TG-A1800L (1.8W/mK), TG-A3200L (3.2 W/mK) and TG-A5000L (5.0 W/mK) all of which can be manufactured in thicknesses ranging from 0.5-8.0 mm in sheets or as cut parts.

Low Bleed Thermal Pads Product Overview:

  • Low Oil-Bleed: Designed with low oil-bleed properties to ensure that the pad retains its constituent oils over time. This is helps to maintain the pad’s integrity and reduces the potential for oil bleed affecting the surrounding components.
  • Ultra Soft and High Compressibility: The softness of a thermal pad is paramount in its ability to conform to the microscopic irregularities between the mating surfaces. Ultra-soft thermal pads fill voids more effectively, ensuring better surface contact and optimised heat transfer.
  • Thermal conductivities from: 1.8-5.0 W/mK
  • Available in thicknesses from: 0.5-8.0 mm
